Welcome to the Fritz-Putz-Hütte!

The Fritz-Putz-Hütte (1185m) is a self-catering hut and is open all year round. Our hut is located in a quiet high valley, the Bleckenau, one of the most beautiful spots in the Ammergau Alps. About 100 meters away is the mountain restaurant Bleckenau, the former hunting lodge of King Ludwig II.

Our hut is part of the Mit Kindern auf Hütten campaign, an initiative of the Alpine associations in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol for family-friendly huts. It is suitable for children from baby age. Our adventure areas for children: wide alpine pasture and forest area with play facilities and nearby mountain stream. In winter: Tobogganing, snowshoe and ski tours, igloo building.

Luggage transport to the Fritz Putz hut has been discontinued. Unfortunately, the numerous luggage transports to the hut can no longer be carried out, as they are against the principles of a nature reserve in which the hut is located. We therefore ask for your understanding.
