Schutzhütte im Tharandter Wald mit Rastplatz, Märchenstation Rotkäppchen, Tieflagenfichtenwald.
Heinrich Ernemann war ein Dresdner Unternehmer der Kino- und Fotoindustrie. Er besaß eine Villa im Kurort Hartha und war Förderer des Ortes. Er war Erfinder in der Foto- und Kinogeräteindustrie sowie Gründer der Ernemann-Werke AG.
Warum die Ernemannhütte nach ihm benannt wurde, können wir im Moment nicht recherieren.
Wandertipp:
In den Senken des Tharandter Wald kann sich viel kalte Luft stauen. Besonders in windstillen und wolkenlosen Nächten sinkt die spezifisch schwerere Kaltluft zu Boden und kann zu nächtlicher Abkühlung der bodennahen Luftschichten führen, selbst im Hochsommer bis deutlich unter Null Grad. Die bekannteste solche Frostsenke sind die Triebischwiesen zwischen Ernemannhütte und Jungfernloch (Prallhang mit kleiner Höhle, oberhalb der "Grünen Brücke"). Eindrucksvoll ist ein Morgenspaziergang entlang des Talweges, wenn dichte Nebelschwaden über der Wiese liegen.
