The observation tower, constructed from steel and approximately 25 meters high, is a worthwhile hiking destination that is operated by different associations on weekends. It can be reached via well-marked hiking trails from the direction of Deidesheim or Wachenheim.

The Eckkopf with its hiking hut is the perfect hiking destination in every season. From the Eckkopfturm, you can enjoy a 360-degree view of the Palatinate Forest and the Rhine Basin.

The Eckkopfhütte is open on weekends and public holidays from the end of February to the end of November, and the wind-protected veranda invites you to take a break at any time. Marked hiking trails lead from all directions to the summit.
