The idyllic alpine hut, situated amidst the alpine meadows on Edelsberg, is open from June to mid-September.

At 1495 meters, the alpine herdsman takes care of the freely roaming young cattle, known as Schumpen by the locals, from June to mid-September. In early September, they return well-fed and healthy to their farmers' barns. Until then, the young Allgäu cattle have plenty of opportunities to feast on the diverse grasses of the alpine meadows. In addition to the unique mountain panorama, there are good snacks and refreshing drinks. Hikers and mountain bikers are warmly welcome.

Saturday: 10.30 - 20.00 hrs
Sunday and public holiday: 10.30 - 17.00
Day off: Monday - Friday

The hut remains closed in case of continuous rain.
