Objekt sa nachádza na južnom úpätí Národného parku Muránska planina, 80 m juhovýchodným smerom od turistického smerovníka Maretkiná.

Objekt pozostáva zo spoločenskej miestnosti, izby a kuchynky, ktorá má samostatný vchod. Izba je zariadená dvomi dvojposchodovými posteľami a jednou manželskou posteľou s oddeliteľnými lôžkami. V spoločenskej miestnosti je situovaný rozťahovací gauč, jedálenský stôl a lavica, konferenčný stolík a kreslá. Kuchyňa je vybavená malou kuchynskou linkou, kuchynským stolom, dvomi stoličkami, základným kuchynským vybavením a plynovým varičom. Na zastrešenej verande sa nachádza stôl s lavicou. V objekte nie je zavedená elektrina ani voda, vykuruje sa drevom. Suchá toaleta je umiestnená v blízkosti objektu. Najbližší zdroj vody je prameň Bodolová, ktorý sa nachádza 600 m severným smerom od objektu.
