Das Café Uta ist direkt am Simms-Wasserfall gelegen, den man von hier aus wunderbar betrachten kann. Auch das Rauschen des Wassers wirkt bei einer Rast auf der Sonnenterrasse beruhigend. Vom Café aus gelangt man auch zur bekannten Holzgauer Hängebrücke. Die urige Hütte lädt Einheimische und Lechtal-Besucher zu ein paar schönen Stunden in traditioneller Atmosphäre ein.
1951 errichtet und direkt im ersten Winter von einer Lawine zerstört, wurde die Hütte seither mehrmals neu gebaut und renoviert. Heute werden im Café Uta regionale Köstlichkeiten serviert. Selbstgemachte Kuchen, edle Weine, Tiroler Suppen und andere Leckereien werden hier angeboten.
