Das Haus ist für kleine und große Gruppen sowie besonders für Familien auch mit kleinen Kindern bestens geeignet. Eine geräumige Küche und drei gemütliche Aufenthaltsräume stehen zur Verfügung. In Einzel-, Doppel- (2 mit DU/WC) und 2 Vierbettzimmern (1 mit DU/WC) sowie zwei Lagern ist ausreichend Nächtigungsmöglichkeit vorhanden. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich alle erforderlichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Im Sommer bieten sich vielfältige Freizeitmöglichkeiten, daneben sind unzählige Bergwanderungen beliebiger Länge auf einfachen bis schwierigen Wegen möglich. Das Skigebiet sowie die Langlaufloipen garantieren ungetrübte Winterfreuden.
Unsere Hütte ist Teil der Kampagne Mit Kindern auf Hütten, eine Initiative der Alpenvereine in Deutschland, Österreich und Südtirol für familienfreundliche Hütten. Sie eignet sich für Kinder ab dem Babyalter. Unsere Erlebnisbereiche: Spielplatz in 5-10 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar; Spielekiste; Wassererlebnisweg in 5 Min. Im Winter: Pistenskilauf bis Ostern; Skitouren mit herrlichen Abfahrten
