Perched on the Tirolerkogel (1,377 m) stands the highest-altitude Annaberger Haus. The breathtaking view of the High Alps makes the one-and-a-half-hour climb well worth it.
From here, you can admire the Schneeberg just as easily as the Hochschwab or the Gesäuse Mountains. And of course, don’t forget the Ötscher, which gives the surrounding region its name. The kitchen at the Annaberger Haus treats its guests to hearty, traditional fare all year round.
Hiking groups of 15 or more people must please call in advance by 9:00 a.m.
