Täglich stellt die Sennerfamilie frische Butter, Käse, Joghurt und Quark her. Die Alpe ist das ganze Jahr über bewirtschaftet und befindet sich unweit der Bergstation der Söllereckbahn. Sie kann daher auf einer gemütlichen Wanderung erreicht werden. Hungrige und durstige Wanderer und Radfahrer werden mit zünftigen Brotzeiten aus der Region verwöhnt, die Alpe ist Mitglied im Verein Allgäuer Alpgenuss e.V.
Doch nicht nur im Sommer ist die Alpe Schrattenwang einen Besuch wert. Im Winter bewirten die Müllers vor allem Skifahrer. Inmitten des Skigebiets am Söllereck ist die Alpe ein echter Geheimtipp mit Panoramablick. Den eigens hergestellten und prämierten Käse gibt es auch zum Mitnehmen.
