High path from Söllereck to Riezlern

From Oberstdorf, the old path to the Kleinwalsertal ran above the Breitachtal through the alpine region of Söllereck. The ascent is eased by the ride with the Söllereckbahn and the route is today one of the most popular hiking trails in the region – in summer and winter. On the short stretch from the mountain station of the Söllereckbahn to the Kleinwalsertal, there are some huts and alp farms, although not all are open in winter. However, stopping at the Schrattenwangalp or the Bergstüble is possible. Along the way, there is a continuously wonderful view of the winter landscape of the Allgäu and the Kleinwalsertal. The Hohe Ifen rises in our view and towers impressively over the snowy landscape.
