Hiking in Weitra

A varied hiking tour covering 7 named peaks. Some challenging, striking summit rocks can be scaled via easy climbing by mountaineers and independent hikers wearing appropriate hiking boots. "Casual" hikers are better off sticking to the easier trail!

Even on the second stage, the character of the landscape remains typical for the Waldviertel. Only two villages are crossed before reaching the border town of Gmünd.

From the Nebelstein hut via Maißen, the Holzmühle and Wultschau to Weitra.
