It is a good alternative to the often crowded E5 if you want to do an alpine crossing once. Alpine crossings have existed in several variants for many years. Here are the currently best-known routes: “E5” (Oberstdorf/ Meran) “Traumpfad” (Munich/ Venice) “L” (Garmisch/ Brescia) “L1S” (Walchensee/ Iseo Lake) L1 variant "L1S" “GTA” (Grießpass/ Ventimiglia) “Munich-Garda Lake” (Munich/ Garda Lake) “Via Alpina: Yellow Route” (Oberstdorf/ Trieste) “Via Alpina: Red Route” (Oberstdorf/ Trieste) “Alpe Adria Trail” (Großglockner/ Muggia) New: “Alps Traverse Gemellato" ATG (Rosenheim/ Lazise). The multi-day route "ATG" is a variant (shorter distances, more days) of the “long-distance trail Rosenheim – Lazise“.

Eine sehr schöne Kurzwanderung entlang eines Flusslaufes mit diversen Wasserfällen beziehungsweise vielmehr Kaskaden und Blicken auf die Brenta-Dolomiten auf der weiteren Wegstrecke.

Made the tour already the second time (both times with a dog, no problem!) after September 2020. And also the second time it was amazing and beautiful, the first part is stunning with views over the valley and the rough mountains, not many people around, hardly any tourists. The second part through the forest for the descent. it’s also beautiful, surprising views opening up to see the mountains in the far distance. Steep paths make you sweat but are definitely worth the effort. Road and Bridge are open now, all treework is done (last year the little wooden bridge was broken and closed)

Sehr schöne Wanderung, einzig die Beschilderung ist etwas dürftig. Wir mussten mehrmals nachfragen, wo der Weg verläuft. Achtung: Schluchtenweg im Moment offiziell wegen Steinschlag gesperrt!!
