On this very relaxed walk, the anticipation of oven-fresh cake and freshly ground coffee is the focus of the activity :). If you feel guilty after this treat, you can continue your walk towards Zempin through the wonderfully scented forest and let your soul dangle on the fine sandy beach. TIP: This small route is also suitable for dogs, especially for letting off steam on the beach.

Forest Hike Along the Baltic Sea Until the end of World War II, the large restricted area surrounding the Peenemünde Army Research Center stretched north of Trassenheide. Several forced-labor and prisoner-of-war camps were located in the surrounding forests. Our hiking trail passes by the exposed foundation walls of one of these camps.
