After the steep ascent, there is another steep climb to the 21.7 m high observation tower, from which you can see as far as Berlin and Potsdam. The descent via a sandy chute is also exciting, afterwards it goes back over fields and through the forest.

    Dies ist wirklich eine typische Tour für diese Region. Kiefern- und Mischwälder, offene Flächen mit viel Weite, kleine Orte und Wasser. Überwiegend auf Sand- und Feldwegen, selten Asphalt. Ich bin die Tour (etwas abgewandelt) mit meinem Hund an einem sonnigen und trockenen Februartag unter der Woche gelaufen und habe nur Menschen in unmittelbarer Häusernähe getroffen, ansonsten Kraniche, Rehe, Gänse, Schwäne und einen Biber. Auf Grund der häufigen freien Flächen ist dies wahrscheinlich keine Tour für den Hochsommer und einige Bereiche (Siethener See/ Märkisches Wanderdorf) sind im Sommer/Wochenende/Ferien) wahrscheinlich sehr voll. Auch zeigen einige Wegabschnitte, dass dort viel geritten wird und der Boden somit sehr sandig ist. Alle Seen können angelaufen werden, allerdings hat der Siethener See sehr viele private Steganlagen. Oftmals hört man keine menschengemachten Geräusche (außer den Flugzeugen Richtung BER).

    Sehr interessante Runde mit dem Ort Friedensstadt. Das Wildgehege war leider betriebsbedingt geschlossen. Sehr viele Pilze in den Glauer Bergen gesehen.

    An Wiesen und Wälder vorbei, kurzer Teil an der Straße und dann wieder Natur pur. Am Bachzulauf kurz Eisvögel aufblitzen sehen-tolles Farbspektakel! Das Restaurant/ Hotel am Ende/Anfang der Strecke (Stücken) kann ich nur empfehlen!

    Wunderbare Strecke. Das Stück entlang der Nuthe nach dem Wehr war stark überwachsen, aber sehr spaßig zu gehen, Brenesseln hatten wir keine gefunden. Das einzige Stück Weg, was falsch ist, ist unmittelbar vor Blankensee. Hier lieber den Wegen auf der Karte folgen, das Stückchen durch den Wald ist nicht sehr angenehm. Alle anderen Wege sind in der Natur vorhanden, wenn auch nicht auf allen Karten. Die Glauer Berge sind sehr schön und der viele Sand macht die kurze Länge wieder wett. Empfehlenswert.

    Vielleicht ein bisschen Viele Feldwege am Anfang. Es gab z.T. sehr viele Mücken, also im Sommer ist Mückenschutz Pflicht. Dafür ist die Route echt sehr ruhig, außerorts ist und kein einziger Menschen entgegen gekommen. Die Landschaft und Natur ist abwechslungsreich. Allerdings ist ein kleiner Teil des Weges kurz nach Blankensee nicht korrekt eingezeichnet bzw. existiert der Weg nicht mehr.

    Nach längerer zeit bin ich die Tour noch einmal gegangen. Sie gehört immer noch zum schönsten, was man im Berliner Umland machen kann, vor allem, weil sie so abwechslungsreich ist. Ganz kurz das wichtigste: Die Wege stimmen weitgehend noch, stellenweise sind Dinge anders. Trotzdem GPS oder Karte und Kompass mitnehmen. Stellenweise muss man querfeldein laufen, was aber Spass macht. Es gibt schöne Ausblicke und gute Rastplätze, vor allem ganz ganz viel Natur.
