You can only reach Blankensee in the village of Blankensee.
The hiking trail uses public roads with car traffic between Schönhagen and Blankensee as well as between Blankensee and Stücken.

In Stücken, first follow the signs inside the village towards Blankensee.
At about the level of the inn Fliederhof, turn right into the small field path.
Follow this alley to Körzin, then on a roadside cycle/pedestrian path to Stangenhagen.
In Stangenhagen at the crossroads, turn left and follow the very narrow and mostly overgrown path. Pass some weekend properties up to the road and walk beside the road towards Blankensee.
In Blankensee, immediately to the right behind the bridge over the Nieplitzgraben there is a fisherman who also sells fish sandwiches and fresh fish on weekends.
Then continue through the pretty village of Blankensee and along the very narrow road back to Stücken. On sunny summer weekends, this road is unfortunately heavily used by excursion traffic.
