A very easy circular route to walk. Our recommendation is to walk the route counterclockwise. (So reversed compared to how it is shown in the Spessart project brochure!!!) Then board 5 comes first, but the elevation profile is perceived as more pleasant.

    Der Zuweg vom Bahnhof Schlüchtern zum Start des spessartbogens ist wie der weitere Verlauf absolut vorbildlich beschildert!! Hier kann nichts schiefgehen. Die erste Hälfte bis Bad Orb hat mir super gefallen. Vor allem, weil es viele weiche Pfade waren. In Bad Orb hab ich mir die Saline (sehr beeindruckend) angeschaut. Die zweite Hälfte bis Langenselbold hat mir nicht ganz so gut gefallen, da es hier dann doch leider viele Wege gab, die mit Schotter zugeschüttet wurden. Sehr sehr schade!!!!!!!!!!! Ansonsten aber wirklich sehr schön mit vielen Highlights!

    Ich bin die Tour von Rieneck aus gegangen. Der Start im Regen war dort nicht so dramatisch, da die Wege erstmal eher asphaltiert und dann noch geschottert sind. Sehr schön war ein Stück auf dem Waldlehrpfad, direkt am Fließenbach entlang. Leider hab ich dann ein paar Mal den eigentlich Weg verloren, weil gefühlt jeder Weg dort zur Bayerischen Schanz führen und dementsprechend viele Schilder gibt es. Der vorgeschlagene Weg dürfte dann etwas schneller pfadiger werden, aber man hat auch die Möglichkeit, auf geschotterte Wege auszuweichen, falls es z.B. durch anhaltenden Regen sonst zu matschig sein sollte. Der Weg von der Bayerischen Schanz aus nach Burgsinn gefällt mir persönlich sehr, sehr gut. Meistens ist es ein weicher Trampelpfad, der durch wechselnden, lichten Mischwald führt. Auch beim Rückweg gibt es spätestens ab der Richteichenhütte verschiedene Wege, auf denen man dann nach Burgsinn gelangt, so dass man je nach Lust und Laune auch nochmal eine kleine Verlängerung einbauen kann.

    Heute bin ich dem 'roten Schmetterling' in Wenighösbach gefolgt. Im Uhrzeigersinn ab Gasthaus Ochse. Die Beschilderung ist gut, die Wegbeschaffenheit unterschiedlich (keine klassischen Trails/Trampelpfade). Die Stelen bieten interessante Informationen und hier & da gibts nen schönen Ausblick. Perfekt für Gassirunden, da man immerwieder an den Bächen vorbeikommt. Erreichbar vom Wanderparkplatz nahe des Gasthauses oder mitm Bus 7/21 ab AB-Hbf.     Ein sehr schöner Rundweg mit leichten Steigungen. Der Weg ist lediglich an einem kleinen Stück kurz vor dem Kreisel (Faulbach St2315) nicht gut aufbereitet. Hier sollte man trittsicher unterwegs sein und einfach durchziehen! 😃 Highlights: - Fake-Tiere am Anfang der Strecke. Sieht täuschend echt aus! - Henneburg mit Biergarten (Freitag bis Sonntag geöffnet) - 1/4 des Weges mit dauerhaftem Blick auf den Main - häufiges Auftreffen von Sitzgelegenheiten

    Schon lange stand diese Runde auf meiner will-ich-sehen-Liste & heute hab ichs gemacht. Bis auf dass die Markierung am Kreisverkehr etwas verwirrend ist & es aufm Rückweg (im Gegensatz zur gpx-Datei) die Treppe runter geht, ist der Weg gut ausgeschildert. Zunächst geht es die wunderschön-erfrischende Schlucht hinauf bis zum Tonwerk, wo 2 Sitz-/Tischgarnituren zur ersten Rast einladen. Dann geht es in leichtem zick-zack weiter bergan, ehe man auf 282hm vor der steilen Steintreppe zum Aussichtsturm steht. An selbigen gibt es (meist) die Möglichkeit von Speis & Trank zu angemessenen Preisen. Weiter der Beschilderung folgend geht es gut gesichert bergab zu einem Wildgatter, hinter dem eine Bank dazu einlädt den wunderschönen Blick über die Weinberge schweifen zu lassen. Von dort geht es ein paar Steinstufen hinab, ehe man ebenerdig zur Klingenburg wandert. Ab hier geht es ganz gut beschildert immer wieder zick-zack & schwerpunktmäßig hinab, ehe man ab dem Kreisverkehr wieder zum Bahnhof läuft. Mir hat es wirklich gut gefallen 👏
