Varied route along many lakes and reservoirsThis tour offers on the one hand absolute solitude on the Planalto Superior: Apart from sheep and goat herders who seasonally lead their herds through the high valleys, you rarely encounter people here. On the other hand, the hike also provides insights into large technical projects: Gigantic dams hold back large amounts of water on the plateau, and powerful pipelines connect these reservoirs. Both are worth seeing and do not necessarily disturb the hiking pleasure here.

Exceptional hike with short scrambling passages through pristine valleys and to secluded lakes on the Planalto SuperiorThis tour is the most difficult and demanding of the guide and has the potential to continuously surprise the hiker. The hike starts at Torre, the highest mountain on mainland Portugal, and leads on a very steep path into the lovely Covão d’Ametade. Via the lonely Vale de Candeeira, we then climb up to the impressive mountain lake Lagoa da Peixão. Before the summit of Cume, we hike back towards Torre.
