The Groppensteinschlucht captivates, both by day and by night. The illumination of the gorge then highlights special formations of rocks and walls, ravines and waterfalls, roots, trees, lichens - accents of light. At the same time, perception in the dark is sharpened - more intensely than during the day, the roaring and rushing, occasionally the murmuring of the water is perceived. The few stars visible through the opening of the gorge appear more distant than usual.

Dafür sollte man 6-7 Stunden einplanen.

Great Klamm. We started from the top, where we let our car parked (oficial parkinglot is not just there, there could fit few cars but you can let your car in the nearby space next to the Bahnhof). Took first third of the way there and back with all the beautiful wild watter. With our son in the backpack. 3km, 150m elevation gain. There are few spots for great photography. Stable pavement for bigger children / little in the backpack.
