The charming country hotel in the center of Obervellach in the Carinthian Mölltal is a family-run business that has a special love for details and warmth. Despite its central location in Obervellach, a large, park-like garden awaits you. Much peace, interrupted only by the chirping of birds, contributes to relaxation. All rooms offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. Special attention is paid to the food. As a member of the Slow Food community Obervellach, great importance is attached to regional production and origin, as well as seasonality, right from the selection of ingredients. Annemarie's specialty is the Alpe-Adria cuisine: many Austrian specialties are modernly interpreted but already have clear accents from the southern neighboring regions. In the morning, a comprehensive breakfast buffet awaits you, and in the evening, a three-course menu is offered with a vegetarian option for the main course, as well as a salad buffet. Obervellach is located in the area of the Hohe Tauern National Park with the highest mountain in Austria, the Großglockner. The ski areas Mölltaler Glacier and Ankogel are only 15 kilometers away. The surrounding nature is the ideal place for all alpine outdoor activities. The core of the hotel complex consists of two historic buildings located directly at the main square, which have been lovingly renovated and transformed into the hotel. In addition to the large garden and a sunny terrace, you will also find a sauna area for relaxation. This includes a Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin, and a relaxation area. Additionally, there is a ski or bicycle cellar available for your sports equipment, which offers enough space for your gear. There is also a free parking space available for the entire stay. All rooms are individually designed, equipped with furniture made of local wood, offer mountain views of the Hohe Tauern, and are particularly quiet.

The Stranigalm is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern/Kaponigtal National Park, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and major tourist routes. The Stranigalm is the starting point for several day tours such as to the Moosboden with its unique moss meadows and variety of flowers, the Zagutnigspitze one of the "Seven Summits", Arthur-von-Schmiedhaus, the Triestenspitze or the Reissecker Höhenweg. Our farm is situated at 680m above sea level, right in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, and is surrounded by a well-tended forest and meadow landscape. We go about our duties on the farm with a lot of love and enthusiasm. Nature itself and working with nature and with our animals is a lot of fun! Our production activities are suckler cow husbandry and the breeding of Pinzgauer cows, raising chickens and renting out holiday accommodation. We have a lot of animals: cows with calves, horses, rabbites, guine pigs, sheeps, pigs, chicken. You could go horseriding with our horses Amigo, Jara, Jaro, Ares and Tinkerbell.Our meadows surround the farmhouse. This means that our guests have plenty of space and peace to relax, play, enjoy and rest. In the garden, you'll find an adventure playground for big and small kids with a large sandpit, wooden tower with slide, rope ladders, swings, slack line, hammocks, water features and lots of other play equipment. Seats and loungers invite you to relax for a while. You can even use the covered pergola. A barbecue area and a spot for evening bonfires provide a lot of pleasure. Bicycles for the whole family are also available on the farm! In our games garage, you'll find plenty of entertainment for young and old: darts, table football, table tennis, toy tractors with accessories, go-carts, etc. Our self-made products are: Farmhouse bread, "Kärntner Reindling" cake, belly of pork, bacon, organic chicken, yogurt, stuff, cheese, vegetables and fruit from our own farm, our "snack garden", honey, schnapps

Gatternighof has a large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with dishwasher, 6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with a total of 4 showers and 5 toilets (two separate). A cosy living room with wood-burning cooker, TV, WIFI, washing machine and (shoe) dryer. The large holiday home with panoramic views is perfect for self-catering for up to 16 people. Our 700-year-old traditional farm is located at 1,281 m above sea level, surrounded only by nature, fresh air and our animals. Homemade specialties from our agricultural products taste particularly good on the terrace with a view of the surrounding mountains or in the hut in front of the open fireplace. Located directly on the Alpe Adria Trail, there are many hiking trails to be explored and the mountain bike route up to the alpine pasture is a great challenge for particularly sporty people. Those who want to go higher should bring paragliders and enjoy the view over the Mölltal from high above. In just 15 minutes by car you can reach Obervellach, the heart of the Mölltal where there are other exciting activities and beautiful places to visit.

Ranacherhof is home to cows, calves, Vero - the bull, sheep, pigs, chickens, pony Lilly, dog Bella, kittens, guinea pigs, rabbits, and dwarf goats. The young cattle and sheep are on the Raggaalm in summer and are happy when farmer Franz treats them with grain and our guests visit them. The mountain excursion ends at our hut with a bacon snack and a shot of homemade schnapps.
