A Hike Across Bare RockAt an elevation of just 200 to 300 meters, this hike takes you across a fascinating rocky landscape—smoothed bare by the inland ice sheet—known in Norwegian as “svaet.” The highlight is a waterfall cascading down the rock face. Standing at the top, you can enjoy the view down into the valley and out toward the North Sea. The open terrain invites you to linger, play, and have a picnic, making it ideal for hikers of all ages.

Flott topp på grensa mellom Audnedal og Hægebostad, med flott utsikt! Toppen er 547 m.o.h. Korteste sti til toppen går fra Loka i Hægebostad. Vår tur starter fra Høyland i Audnedal, og er både lengre og har mere stigning. Første del av turen går på traktorvei og sti, deretter i terrenget. Siste delen er uten tydelig sti eller merking. (-over Storåsen til Blomli) - Man bør derfor ha med og kunne bruke kart/kompass! Godt fottøy anbefales. Adkomst: Ta av fra Fv.460 på Valand. Kjør Fv.752 mot Naglestad - ca. 2,5 km. til Høyland. Her er det mulig å finne parkering langs veien, men unngå å stenge skogs- og landbruksavkjørsler. Start turen fra Høyland. Følg traktorvei som starter mellom husene, og stiger bratt opp lia mot vest. Etter ca. 1.3 km tar vi av fra traktorveien, og går videre på sti - etterhvert i terrenget. Den naturlige traséen går i kanten av Storåsen. Deretter krysses et myrdrag før den siste oppstigningen på Selve Blomliknuten. Fra turstart kommer vi raskt opp i terrenget. Det er en del granplantefelt den første delen, men landskapet åpner seg etterhvert. Flere fine og idylliske steder underveis, flott utsikt fra toppen- som altså ligger 50 m. inn i Hægebostad kommune! Ta gjerne en fin avstikker fra Storåsen- ut på Litlåsen, som er nesten like høy som Blomliknuten! ( 520 m.o.h.) Det blir kjørt opp fine skiløyper fra Naglestad skisenter gjennom vintersesongen. (Hægebostad idrettslag)
