This long country route allows, thanks to its many variations, a discovery of the "Pays Champagnole Nozeroy Jura" symbolized by the towns of Champagnole, Nozeroy and Foncine. Located largely within the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park, this itinerant hike between forests, swift waters and pastures crosses some of the most beautiful sites in the department: Pertes de l'Ain, the medieval town of Nozeroy, the Paladian villa of Syam, the waterfalls of la Billaude, la Langouette and the Bief de la Ruine, the gorges of Malvaux, the Upper Saine valley...
