absolut tolle Tour. Gerade dass die Tour im Aufstieg über den Felsenpfad führt, erhöht die Attraktivität der Tour.
Sonnenuntergang auf der Wegelnburg unbedingt genießen. Rückweg in Dämmung gut zu machen.
Sehr abwechslungsreich - Wald, Aussichten, Burgen. Mit guter Kondition kann man die Runde an einem Tag machen. Man sollte Zeit für die Besichtigung der Burgruinen einplanen.

Schöne Rundwanderung mit tollen Aussichten. Besonders der Felsensteig gegen Ende ist toll! Allerdings waren es bei mir am Ende 18 km obwohl ich genau die Wanderung gangen bin.
Wunderbare Rundtour. Wir haben diese an einem Tag zügig in knapp neun Stunden durchgezogen, waren am Ende aber schon ziemlich platt, zumal vor und nach dem Friedenskreuz der Weg wegen umgestürzter Bäume kaum passierbar ist und man nach knapp 30 km anfangen darf mit klettern. Bei den Burgen/Ruinen sind einige gesperrt. Bei den Geöffneten sollte man unbedingt mittels der Leitern auf die Aussichtspunkte steigen. Unterwegs gibt es keine öffentlichen Stellen um die Wasservorräte nachzufüllen, vielleicht mit Ausnahme der Burg Fleckenstein. Dort findet man eine öffentliche Toilette. Daher ausreichend Trinken mitnehmen! Zeckenschutz scheint auch angeraten, man findet dicht bewachsene Pfade.
Wir sind die Tour gestern gewandert und ich muss schon sagen, es war richtig schön und absolut lohnenswert. Wir sind die Tour allerdings rückwärts gelaufen, weil wir erst später am See in Fleckenstein sein wollten und uns hier kurz erfrischt haben.
Mit ein paar Abzweigen hatten wir insgesamt 37,5 km und 1500 hm auf dem Tacho. Die Froensburg ist aktuell bis Ende Juli gesperrt, hier ist auch der Weg nicht wirklich gut ausgeschildert, der Rest ist super zu finden. Burg Fleckenstein haben wir nicht besichtigt, weil wir keinen Eintritt zahlen wollte. Wir waren zügig unterwegs, haben uns an den Burgen Zeit genommen die Aussicht zu genießen und haben eine größere Pause am See eingelegt, es tat einfach sehr gut hier ein bisschen zu schwimmen und die Füße abzukühlen. Insgesamt haben wir 10,5 Stunden benötigt. Ich denke 10 h sollte man schon einplanen wenn man nicht nur durchrennen will.
