Reschbachklause - Siebensteinkopf  Varied circular route from Finsterau to Alte Klause and along the Reschbach to the Reschbachklause. It continues to the German-Czech border and then up to the Siebensteinkopf. Passing the Bucina border crossing, we reach the Teufelsbachklause, where we follow the Schwellgraben. Past Sandberg, we reach the Finsterau moor and shortly thereafter our starting point again.

Following the traces of timber rafting, we hike to the wild and romantic Reschbachklause and can enjoy the stunning view from Siebensteinkopf. Via the Teufelsbachklause and the Finsterauer Filz, it goes back to the starting point.

Sumava 3: Srni - Kvilda Stage route from Bayer. Eisenstein to Cesky Krumlov - part 3: We start in Srni and follow the blue marking to Cenkova Pila, where we switch to the red marking. It goes along the river Vydra and to Tunerova Chata (hut with refreshments). We follow the red marking to the signpost Atnygl-most at a large bridge. From there, the yellow marking leads to Kvilda.

Sumava 4: Kvilda - Mitterfirmiansreut From Kvilda, follow the BLUE trail to the source of the Warm Vltava and continue to the border with Germany. From here, follow the signpost to Siebensteinkopf and reach the summit. From there, continue by following the signpost to Bucina. From Bucina, follow the red trail further and pass the abandoned villages of Fürstenhut and Scheuereck. At the Pod Zdarek Horou signpost, switch to YELLOW and enter Germany again.     Tolle Tour auf schönen, mäßig ansteigenden Wegen entlang von Bachläufen, Schwellbächen und Klausen. Unbedingt sollte ein Abstecher von der Grenze nach Buchwald gemacht werden (ca 500m). Im dortigen Hotel mit toller Sonnenterrasse kann man den Fernblick bis zu den Alpen genießen und etwas über die Historie des aufgelassenen Ortes erfahren inkl. einer Nachbildung des ehemaligen Grenzzaunes.

    Wir sind die Tour vom Parkplatz Schwellgraben aus gegangen. Sie führt weitgehend auf einsamen Pfaden durch eine urwüchsige Landschaft. Lediglich der Weg zwischen der Moldauquelle und Buchwald hat uns nicht gefallen. Dort ist es eine breite Forststraße und es sind entsprechende viele Leute (auch mit Fahrrädern und Elektrorollern) unterwegs.
