The 2nd stage of the Weserhöhenweg leads along the Weser to the mouth of the Nethe and crosses the Nethe valley here. Over the Brunsberg with the Brunsburg, the launch site for paragliders, it goes past the Rabenklippen on the Ziegenberg to Höxter. In addition to the beautiful river landscape, you can expect special views from the mountains into the Weser valley and the lake landscape between Höxter and Godelheim. The end point of the route is the Corvey World Heritage Site.

    Eine zweifellos lohnenswerte Tour! Zwei etwa 1 km lange Streckenabschnitte sind allerdings überwachsen. Daher ist diese Tour nur trittfesten Wanderern zu empfehlen, die mit GPS-Unterstützung (GPX-Track) unterwegs sind.

    Die Tour ist sehr abwechslungsreich, die Aufsteige lohnen sich auf jeden Fall: man bekommt immer wieder neue Eindrücke.eines tollen Waldes. Der Abschnitt zwischen 5,6km und 6,2km ist allerdings fast komplett zugewachsen und recht mühsam und buchstäblich "dornenreich". Da lohnt sich eventuell doch eine Neuanlage oder der Umweg über das Feld etwas unterhalb des Waldstückes. Deshalb nur 4 Sterne, ansonsten war das wirklich ein Erlebnis.

    Heute haben wir zum Frühlingsanfang diese schöne Runde genossen. Sie ist gut beschildert und sehr gut zu gehen. Wenn man etwas achtsam ist, entdeckt man zu dieser Jahreszeit bereits viele Frühblüher rechts und links des Weges und man hat mangels Blättern an den Bäumen immer wieder Aussicht auf die Weser, die Godelheimer Seen und die Stadt Höxter.

    Ich bin den Weg der Vielfalt am 28.10.2021 gegangen und war total begeistert. Für mich war es eine interessante, lehrreiche, mystische, farbenfrohe, atemberaubende und aussichtsreiche Tour. Sehr gut gefallen hat mir, daß der Startpunkt gleich am Bahnhof Ottbergen beginnt, gleich unten an der Bahnunterführung eine Infotafel ist und die ganze Tour sehr gut gekennzeichnet ist. Verlaufen ist fast unmöglich. Die Strecke führt auf naturbelassenen Wald-; offene Feld- Wiesenwegen, Stufen sowie leider auch zu viel Asphaltstraße entlang. Dafür wird man mit grandiosen Aussichten belohnt. Die Auf- und Abstiege sind an einigen Stellen ziemlich steil und bei feuchten Untergrund oder wegen der vielen Blätter im Herbst doch sehr rutschig. Was vielleicht auch noch wichtig ist zu erwähnen, wenn man wieder in Ottbergen - Bahnübergang ankommt und das Pech hat, das gerade die Schranken zu sind und sich eine lange Autoschlange bildet, kann es recht lange dauern bis man über die Straße kommt. Hier muss man auf jeden Fall mehr Zeit einplanen. Deshalb mußte ich die Tour hier abkürzen und bin direkt nach Bruchhausen bis zur Nethe gegangen und von da dann wieder zum Bahnhof zu gelangen. Leider ist die Aufzeichnung in der App nicht so gut gelaufen wie ich es gerne gehabt hätte, deshalb sind nur wenige Kilometer aufgezeichnet.

    Vielfalt passt wunderbar für diesen Weg.Wir waren begeistert.Ueberall gab es was zu sehen,im Hohlweg Figuren,Infotafeln,oben herrliche Aussichten/Weitblicke. Es gab so viel Abwechslung,es ging durch Wald,Feld,durch kleine Orte,über Berg und Tal oder auch mal am Wasser entlang. Wir sind Hin und weg von diesem Weg. Die Beschilderung war perfekt,nur mit den Kilometern sind wir nicht hingekommen.Outdooractive hat 18,5 Kilometer aufgezeichnet,13 sollten es sein. Von der Zeit her passen die 18 aber eher.

    Ich habe die Tour gestern gemacht. Sie ist echt toll. Und keiner der Hinweise hier ist fehl am Platz. Den Wanderstock oder etwas vergleichbares würde ich zu dieser Jahreszeit definitiv mitnehmen, ich musste glatt zwei Mal schauen bis ich den Weg überhaupt gesehen habe. Dafür wird man aber mit schönen Eindrücken und, bis auf die letzten Meter nahe der Straße, viel Natur und Ruhe belohnt. Tolle Strecke!!! PS. Noch eine kleine Anmerkung: Es heißt Küsterstraße und nicht Küstenstraße. Gibt aber eh nur die eine im Navi, also halb so wild. :)

    Eine anstrengende aber sehr schöne Wanderung. Vor allem der tolle Laubwald hat uns gefallen. Am Anfang des Weges der Blick auf Höxter und am Ende der Blick auf die andere Seite Richtung Godelheim und Beverungen. Schwierig war zumindest auf der Karte das letzte Wegstück zu finden. Aber anhand der vorhandenen Beschilderung war es dann doch möglich.
