    Mooie wandeling met uitzichten op de Ober- en Niederburg. We hebben extra stukken toegevoegd aan deze wandeling zodat we langer konden wandelen. Onze tips: 1. bezoek ook de Niederburg: voor de 5 EUR toegangsgeld moet je het niet laten. 2. de horecazaak aan de overkant van de Niederburg is goed 3. Om te parkeren: vlak aan de Niederburg is betalend maar verderop (langs de weg tussen Manderscheid en Niedermanderscheid niet).

    Eigentlich ein sehr schöner Weg, ich bin ihn bereits im Winter mal gewandert, jetzt aber ungepflegt und zugewachsen, so daß wir uns verlaufen haben, plötzlich auf Schafe getroffen sind und dann schon wieder am Ausgangpunkt waren. Schade.

    Sehr schöne Tour, auch mit Kindern sehr empfehlenswert. An einigen Stellen war der Weg allerdings sehr stark zugewachsen von beiden Seiten gewesen (waren im Juli da).

    Eine schöne Strecke, bei der uns ganz besonders das Etappenfinale in Manderscheid gefallen hat. Aber auch das Gemündener Maar oder die pfadigen Abschnitte an der Lieser kurz vor der Üdersdorfer Mühle oder im weiteren Streckenverlauf waren klasse. Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht!

    Sehr schöner abwechslungsreicher Wanderweg mit tollen Aussichten. Wenn man mag, sogar mit alpinem Klettersteig...frei zugänglich. Ausrüstung hat man dazu entweder selbst oder kann diese im Tourismus Info Center gegen Gebühr ausleihen. Zufällig eine Mitarbeiterin beim Gassi mit dem Hund auf dem Weg getroffen. Die Oberburg ist frei zugänglich mit schöner Rundumsicht vom Burgtrurm, die Unterburg gegen ein geringes Entgelt (Eintritt). Dort kann man sogar heiraten. Es gibt ein Trauzimmer vom Standesamt. Der Weg führt weitestgehend auf schmalen Waldwegen. Wäre perfekt, wenn ein Teil des Weges nicht über Wirtschaftswege gehen würde...ist also Ausbaufähig. Ansonsten gut ausgeschildert. Hat uns gut gefallen. Sehr zu empfehlen!

    Schöner Weg, recht kurz aber abwechslungsreich und teilweise über sehr urige Pfade. Einige steile Anstiege erfordern etwas Kraft. Das hat für uns den Zeck erfüllt. Training für den nächsten Bergurlaub, sowohl was die Wegbeschaffenheit angeht, als auch die Anstiege. Zum Schluss haben wir noch den Besuch der Oberburg und den Abstieg zur Wäschebach-Hängebrücke angehängt.
