The Aargau wine hiking trail, between Endingen and Klingnau, is gladly frequented. Along the way, inns and wineries invite you to take a break. 

The easy circular hike to the so-called "Aargau Rigi", the Homberg near Beinwil, also takes you past the beautiful Hallwilersee.

On the approximately 37 km long route from Wettingen to Aarau, you hike along the Aare River. A highlight of the tour is the so-called Water Castle, a natural spectacle near the town of Brugg: Here the rivers Aare, Reuss, and Zepter meet.

    Von Biberstein her steiler Aufstieg, erfordert schon etwas Kondition. Auf der Krete gut begehbarer Weg. Leider ist die Aussicht sehr begrenzt wegen der Bäume. Aber von der Natur aus lohnt es sich. Nicht empfehlenswert nach Regen oder allgemein nassem/feuchten Untergrund. Rutschgefahr.

    Schöner und abwechslungsreicher Weg entlang der Reuss. Auf dem Rückweg hatte es dann nicht mehr viele Bänkli. Vor der Brücke musste man dem Hauptweg und dann der Strasse entlang gehen, der Weg über die Wiese war privat und abgezäunt.

    Wir haben die Wanderung umgekehrt von Niederwenigen nach Zurzach gemacht. Die vielen Blumen in den Gärten, im Wald und das schöne Grün im Wald haben uns sehr gefallen. Auch die Aussicht über die Landschaft war schön. Wichtig: Oberhalb Ober Schneisingen muss man unbedingt einen kleinen Abstecher zu den Alpenrosen machen die dort wachsen. Zum Abschluss haben wir dann ein Bad in der Therme Bad Zurzach genossen. Das war Super.

    Die Tour hat uns bis auf die letzten 2 - 3 km, wo fast alles auf Teer gelaufen werden muss, gefallen. Schade, dass es für diesen Abschnitt keine andere Routenwahl gibt.

    Abwechslungs- und aussichtsreiche Runde, gut auch für den Abend geeignet, da nicht zu lang (gilt auch für andere Oberhöfer Wanderwege). Der hier veröffentlichte Weg weicht zwei mal leicht von der ausgeschilderten Route ab, macht aber keine Probleme. Brombeeren am Weg gefunden, später gesammelt und 5 Gläser Marmelade gekocht. Im Bild eine kleine Grotte am Weg. Schade übrigens, dass aus der Burg ein Windindustrie-Revier werden soll... im Jurapark!

    Schöner abwechslungsreicher Weg. Am Sonntag rund um Linn herum erwartungsgemäss viel los, würde aber unter der Woche wohl wesentlich ruhiger sein. Im Sagemülitäli kurz vor der Station Effingen konnte ich den Weg im Wald nicht nachvollziehen und bin auf der Strasse geblieben. Toll die vielen Parkplätze am Startpunkt. Vielen Dank!
