From the starting point, follow the yellow markers and ascend the narrow valley of the Sissle to P.699 and Buechmatt. Gradually rising to Linnerberg, which invites you to take a break with a beautiful panorama.
Descent to Linn to its well-known and approximately 800-year-old linden tree. Then continue following the yellow markers through the charming village center and soon reach Station Effingen. Trains and the nearby motorway somewhat disturb the previously quiet hike.
A short steep ascent through the Summerhalde to P.560. Above the settlement of Eichwald, the northern view of Zeiher Homberg can be seen very well. Other peaks of the Aargau Jura can also be identified. In a few minutes, the starting point is reached again.
