If you are looking for tradition, the Refavaie Refuge is for you. Typical dishes served in a friendly atmosphere evoke a history that spans over a century.
Nestled in the pastures and woods of Refavaie, near a small fishing lake, the hut offers typical home cooking with grilled meat and trout. Typical dishes are the absolute protagonists for a place full of tradition that exudes history. Founded before the Great War as a tavern that served as a refreshing stop for the villagers of Caoria working in the woods or in transit for the farms, the refuge was renovated in 2004. Do not miss the "formai cot with eggs", a typical dish of the place and the chef's real workhorse.

• from 1st June to 25th October 2026, from Monday to Sunday 7am-11pm
Rifugio Refavaie is open from 1 May to 1 November every day and, from 8 December to the end of May open weekend.
From 23/12 to 06/01 open every day.
