Ascent: On the forest path into Val Regana, at the junction at 1300 m turn left: at the end follow along the stream, on the summer trail. At an altitude of 1800 m on the right side (east side) taking the steep slopes of the Orti della Regana, after a first section keep left to bypass some rocky cliffs. In the upper part of the valley the slope decreases and the summit of Cima d'Asta appears, which can be reached by a final crack along the eastern ridge. Descent: There are 2 options to reach the Corra Gorge: 1) descent with crampons and ice axe on the exposed west ridge to the notch, from where the valley begins (approx. 200 m); 2) retrace the ascent route about 200 m back, turn northwest and climb briefly to the Forcelletta del Diaol (carry skis for 20 m). Put skis back on and descend about 50 m to the notch: immediately after a gorge, make a long traverse to the left (westward) to avoid losing altitude.
