The Axenstein Golf Club's restaurant enjoys a good reputation among golfers and hikers.

The rustic interior and the historical pictures give us a glimpse of the 1920s. The terrace convinces with a breathtaking view of Lake Lucerne and the mountain landscape that softly surrounds the lake. The menu is down-to-earth and welcomes regional products and classics such as sausage and cheese salad, Egliknusperli, Alpkäseschnitte and beef fillet Stroganoff. In autumn, when everything lights up, the restaurant tempts you with game and the almost forgotten "Hafechabis".

An after-dinner walk to the Druidenstein is worthwhile; you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the Mythen and the Schwyz valley basin.

The view alone is inviting - visit the restaurant on the golf course and let yourself be spoilt.

Directions

Coming from the north

Take the A4 motorway in the direction of Gotthard, Schwyz, Brunnen. After Brunnen Nord, take the E41 motorway. After the Mositunnel (300 m) get into the left lane and turn off towards Morschach. At the height of the Pizzeria Betschart turn left at the post office. Follow the Axensteinstrasse to the edge of the forest. After the right-hand bend you will see the entrance to the Axenstein Golf Club.

Coming from the south

Take the A2 motorway as far as Altdorf. Car road E41 until before Brunnen, then turn right towards Morschach. At the Pizzeria Betschart turn left at the post office. Follow the Axensteinstrasse to the edge of the forest. After the right-hand bend you will see the entrance to the Axenstein Golf Club.
