In the Klosterschänke visitors are welcomed with warm hospitality and a passion for seasonal cuisine, from Baden specialities to Italian classics.

The head of the house, Dagmar Mattes-Racciatti, cooks herself in the Klosterschänke. The menu mainly features fresh produce and seasonal highlights like zander fillet on asparagus stew with wild garlic risotto and strawberries.

In addition to seasonal and regional dishes, guests enjoy the typical Italian dishes, such as slices of Venetian veal liver in balsamic sauce with braised onions and homemade noodles.

The main focus of the wine list is on regional "Badischer Wein" and well-known Italian wines.

Die Klosterschänke liegt malerisch in den Varnhalter Weinbergen nur ca. 5 Km von der Innenstadt Baden-Badens entfernt.

Mit den Buslinien 214 und 216 können Gäste, aus der Innenstadt kommend, bequem bis Haltestelle Klostergut Fremersberg fahren. Von dort sind es nur wenige Gehminuten bis zur Klosterschänke.

Für Autofahrer stehen ausreichend Parkplätze vor Ort zur Verfügung.
