Im Januar 1982 wurde das erste Eiscafé Pierod in Ettlingen eröffnet.

Durch gute Eisprodukte und kompromisslose Bereitschaft zur Qualität erwarb sich das junge Unternehmen bald viele Freunde aus nah und fern.
