Das Wirtshaus Wurpower thront am Wurbauerkogel, mit den schönsten Ausblicken über das Windischgarstner Tal. Neben diesem Augenschmaus kommt man hier auch in den Genuss kulinarischer Köstlichkeiten.
Hier schmeckt das Leben! Das Wurpower Team Georg Hatzenbichler und Martin Prieler haben am 1. Mai 2025 ihr Wirtshaus am Wurbauerkogel eröffnet:

Anreise mit der Bahn bis Bahnhof Windischgarsten. Vom Bahnhof Windischgarsten sind es 10 Minuten Fußweg zur Ortmitte von Windischgarsten.

Von Salzburg: auf der A1 bis Voralpenkreuz - A9 Richtung Graz - Abfahrt Roßleithen/ Windischgarsten.
Von Wien: St. Pölten - Linz auf der A1 bis Voralpenkreuz - A9 Richtung Graz - Abfahrt Roßleithen/ Windischgarsten.
Von Graz: A9 Richtung Linz - Abfahrt Roßleithen/ Windischgarsten.
Bei der Autobahnabfahrt fahren Sie Richtung Windischgarsten. Nach dem Lagerhaus Roßleithen biegen Sie links nach Windischgarsten Nord ab und fahren durch das Ortszentrum zur Kreuzung Rosenau - links abbiegen und der Hengstpass-Landesstraße Richtung Rosenau/Hengstpass folgen - nach Gasthof Schaffelmühle links abbiegen und der Straße auf den Wurbauerkogel folgen.
