The menu is a true tribute to regional cuisine, with a focus on some of the house specialities:
- Afogado da boda, a traditional dish served at local celebrations
- Wood-fired oven-roasted kid, cooked slowly
- Cabrito estonado, an old-fashioned recipe with crispy skin and succulent meat
- Goat meat in puff pastry, a surprising take on this ingredient
- Maranho and plangaio, two classics of Beira Baixa cuisine
The table is never without wood-fired bread or the flavours that define mountain cuisine. To finish, homemade desserts, such as the traditional tigelada, prolong the experience.
Over the years, the restaurant has won over visitors and gained recognition, having been awarded the Consumer’s Choice – Best Restaurant in the district of Castelo Branco.
