Origin and tradition are the foundation of our philosophy
In Kallstadt on the Mittelhaardt - centrally located on the German Wine Route - the Palatinate shows its most beautiful sides. A magnificent cultural landscape and the particularly mild climate allow unique wines to be produced here. On millennia-old, mostly calcareous soils, the best Riesling with great elegance and fullness thrives in the shelter of old quarries and the Palatinate Forest. In addition to the Kallstadter Kobnert vineyard, the Kallstadter Saumagen vineyard is known to connoisseurs worldwide. This cultural heritage has been cultivated by our winegrowing families together with the cellar team of the Kallstadt winegrowers' cooperative since 1902, as have Burgundy and other grape varieties with their wealth of experience and state-of-the-art processing technology.
The Winzergenossenschaft Kallstadt eG (as of 2024):
-cultivates approx. 250 hectares
- with 69% white and 31% red grape varieties
-has a total of 97 members
- 35 of whom are active, grape-delivering members
-offers guided wine tastings and cellar tours as well as vineyard walks by appointment for groups of between 10 and 150 people in German only! -Wine cellar open daily until 6 pm - Gift service -Sale and serving of new wine
-Wine bar in the ‘Winzerstuben Weick’
