No wine is like another with us: we give each one enough space to develop its own characteristics.
In the year 1659, it was Wolff Kein who laid the foundation for the today's winery in the picturesque Hainfeld in the Palatinate. Today, the siblings Barbara and Peter Klein, who complement each other perfectly, are responsible for the excellent wines. Barbara busily flits between the wine shop, office, and cellar every day, where Peter is the creative mind behind the wines, who spends all day in the autumn nibbling his way through the vineyards to catch the perfect harvesting moment. Together, they have elevated the winery to a whole new level in the last 10 years.
Our flagship is certainly the Grüner Veltliner. Sauvignon Blanc, Syrah, but also the Scheurebe rightfully make their appearance on the wine list and delight young and old alike.  With the construction of a new wine shop in the town center, we finally have the space that we had been missing for years at Weinstraße 38. In our new KleinOd at house number 41, we have welcomed our guests in historical premises since 2021, complete with a garden for strolling and finally without the annoying need to park and move cars. A handful of events give all guests from near and far the opportunity to get to know us and our wines even better. We look forward to seeing you!
