Our winery Kastanienberg is run by Werner, Andrea, and Annika Koch. For generations, our family has been cultivating vineyards around the beautiful wine village of Hainfeld.
The wine, the vineyards, and sharing the joy of wine with dear people is pure joy of life for us. Day by day, we want to produce characterful and sustainable wines that will bring joy to people later. We aim to achieve this through ecological farming and our passion for winemaking.
Thanks to the mild climate and the different soils in the Southern Palatinate, it is possible for us to cultivate a wide range of grape varieties. The different qualities and the exact origin of our wines are reflected in our quality pyramid, which includes basic wines, estate wines, terroir wines, and site-specific wines. Please take a look in our wine shop and let yourself be inspired by our wines.
You are welcome to celebrate private events with us in our estate tavern, for example, birthdays or corporate events, and a sparkling wine reception for a wedding is also possible. We look forward to your inquiry.
Furthermore, we offer guided wine tastings for groups of 10 or more people in our wine shop or in the estate tavern.
