The "Restaurant Zum Silbersee" invites you to relax in its large beer garden during the summer months, with a great view of the lake, enjoying a cool drink or a hot coffee with cake. In cooler weather, the cozy dining room offers a rustic atmosphere. The restaurant is open year-round and provides continuous hot cuisine.
Chef and owner Frank Pilger warmly welcomes you along with his team. Let your soul dangle again and indulge yourself. The cozy, rustic local or the lovely beer garden with a view of the lake is perfect for this.
The Silbersee is a popular excursion destination located directly on the bike routes "Sickinger Mühlenradweg" and "Pfälzer Seentour" in the Landstuhler Bruch.
The Silver Lake is located between Landstuhl and Kindsbach. It is owned by the Angler-Sport-Club Landstuhl. In 1960, this former agricultural area was excavated as a sand pit. The road builders found the suitable red sand here for the dam of the highway. During the excavation works, unexpected sources were encountered that greatly complicated the extraction because the water had to be pumped out. After the completion of the works, the pit filled up to become the lake we see today.
