Winery Peter Lauer

Riesling is the passion at the Peter Lauer winery. The winery in Ayl has the best steep slopes along the Saar. In addition to the famous Ayler Kupp, the winery also cultivates two other important vineyards in the Mosel region. The Saar "Feilser" directly across the river and the steeply sloping vineyard "Schonfels," a bit further upstream. Recently, the long-forgotten location "Lambertskirch," just a stone's throw from "Schonfels," has been replanted and recultivated. For many years, the white wines from Peter Lauer winery have ranked among the best in the Saar. Since 2013, it has been a member of the VDP – the Association of German Prädikatsweingüter. Particularly noteworthy are the wines from VDP.GROSSEN LAGEN® in the dry and off-dry flavor categories.
