"ZUM SIMALE" ist ein, seit dem 16. Juli 2011 eröffnetes, innovatives, einzigartiges Gasthaus auf 1134 Meter Seehöhe. Örtlich betrachtet liegt es auf der "Wegscheide" in Zojach, einem geschichtsträchtigen Ort in den Wimitzer Bergen, wo bereits seit über 200 Jahren Gastronomie betrieben wird.
Am 17. September 1809 wurde hier der legendäre Räuber Simon Kramer, genannt "Krapfenbäck Simale" von französischen Soldaten erschossen. Das von Julius Wolf gemalte Abbild des auch als "Kärntner Robin Hood" bezeichneten sympathischen Rebells, ziert die Aussenwand des ehemaligen Schulgebäudes und heutigen Gasthauses "Zum Simale".
Das Wirtshaus bietet neben einem liebevoll eingerichteten Gastraum mit Bar und offenem Kamin auch eine gemütliche Sonnen- bzw. Gastterrasse für schöne Stunden im Freien.
Die "Simalewirtin" Andrea Kogler sorgt mit Pfiff fürs leibliche und seelische Wohl Ihrer Gäste.
