BierVision Monstein AG was founded in October 2000 and started operations in Monstein on June 6, 2001 as the highest brewery in Switzerland at the time and the first show brewery in the canton of Graubünden. It is located in the former village dairy, a building that was erected over 100 years ago and is centrally located in the middle of the Walser village of Monstein.
Today, BierVision Monstein AG brews various small-format Monstein beer specialties from crystal-clear mountain spring water, Swiss hops and, among other things, local organic mountain barley malt from Gran Alpin. "Craft beer" from the mountains, so to speak.
Other excellent specialties such as cheese, meat, bread and chocolate products are produced under the "Monsteiner" brand in collaboration with innovative Davos businesses. Visit the "Spent Grain Products" section of our website to explore the many specialties.
