Located in the southwestern Trentino, not far from Lake Garda, the Biotope of Lake d'Ampola is situated at the end of the eponymous valley, the natural continuation towards the southwest of the Ledro Valley. This protected area, which includes and surrounds the lake, along with its visitor center, offers the opportunity to discover a particular habitat that contains fragile and interesting animal and plant treasures. Rare insects, animals, and plants adapted to the aquatic environment: a natural lake characterized by a very rich biodiversity.
