Roadbook
Start from the north side of the parish Church of San Floriano, taking the cobbled road up the mountain, behind the fountain, next to the small chapel. Go past the small capital and stay on the cobblestone trail, which then becomes a paved road. At a crossroads, keep to the right of the hairpin bend and continue to the next one. There, leave the main road and take a dirt trail leading to the Church of San Lorenzo, with its 15th-century frescoes. Continue uphill and then take the left, following the 'The Memory and Identity Trail' and 'Bastia' signs. Then continue along the trail decorated with wooden sculptures and info panels leading to the ruins of the Bastia. Follow the sign for the alpine hut and once past it, turn onto the trail on the right. When you reach the paved road, turn right towards the valley, and 150 metres after passing the bend, turn left onto a steep lane. At the crossroads, turn right and keep on the trail, paying close attention to the section inside the Rio Proes gorge, until you reach and cross the bridge over the same stream. When you reach the municipal street, turn right to go back to the starting point.
