A challenging circular bike route between valleys, mills, mining and mountain landscapes of Eichsfeld with fabulous panoramic views.

This challenging e-bike route takes you up to the Sonnenstein with an amazing view! The destination of the circular route is the Basilica Minor, also called the „Eichsfeld Cathedral“.

Along the medieval fortifications you pass the city wall, the ring wall, and the landwehr. Breaks take place at the historic watchtowers and hedgerows.

Varied round through the hilly Upper and Lower Eichsfeld. Hilly sections in the Ohm mountains alternate with flat passages on the Leine riverside or the Golden Mark.

Here we "experience" a piece of German history. In the then divided Eichsfeld region, we follow the course of the former inner-German border over long stretches.

Hilly route through Eichsfeld. Thanks to well-rideable cobbled sections, it evokes a feeling of the Tour of Flanders and the Amstel Gold Race.

Beautiful route from Westerode via Sonnenstein into the Ohmgebirge to the Hauröder Cliff (great view!). Then to Bodenstein Castle, from there on a nice trail through the forest. From Winzingerode back on a bicycle highway :-) .
