Westerode - Ohmgeb. - Bodenstein Castle

From the starting point Westerode, it first goes to Duderstadt. Along the Hartmannskanal, we turn off at Henriettenhof towards the recipe testing center. From there, it goes east via Ecklingerode and Brehme to Sonnenstein. Alternatively, you can still take the few altitude meters from the Sonnenstein parking lot to the summit cross. Through Holungen we ride into the Ohmberg to then enjoy the magnificent view from the Hauröder Cliffs. From there, it goes with a small downhill ride, followed by a small ascent via the country road L1012 to Bodenstein Castle. From here it goes through a beautiful trail through the forest towards Winzingerode. Now it goes over the old railway line (bicycle highway) to Teistungen past the Borderland Museum. Via Gerblingerode and Duderstadt we close the route in Westerode.
