Cycling in Anthering

200 km bike route from Linz to Salzburg via the Hausruckviertel. We did 3 daily stages. For strong cyclists possibly doable in 2 days. The idea came from the good train connection between Linz and Salzburg. A wonderful bike route where everything suited us – we had mostly tailwind.

Very varied circular route. Half on forest and gravel paths, the second half with a long climb and an interesting singletrail descent as the end of the route

Scenic route in the Rupertiwinkel!

On the way to the Austrian-Bavarian Salzach bridge between Oberndorf and Laufen, you will also pass Mattsee, Seeham and Obertrum am See. The lakes here have excellent water quality! At the destination in Oberndorf, a detour to the Silent Night Chapel should not be missed!
