Bikepacking routes in Lago di Ledro

Over the course of 7 days, we cycled from Lenzerheide on a loop through the Swiss-Italian Alps. The most famous mountain passes were the Stelvio and Gavia, but there is so much more to discover!

Worthwhile circular route with scenic passes and beautifully guided bike paths through Trentino and eastern Lombardy from Arco on Lake Garda via Madonna Di Campiglio and the Passo Tonale through Val Camonica to Breno. From there over the small, remote Passo Di Crocedomini, across to Lake Ledro and on the old Ponale road to Riva del Garda and finally back to Arco.

Three-day route with stops at Lake Idro and Torri del Benaco. Long stretches on dirt paths. The most challenging dirt path is the Ponale which leads to Riva, to be done with caution.

The route from Via al Lago (Ledro) to Piazza Cesare Battisti (Riva del Garda) offers a journey through mountain landscapes and panoramic views of the lake. Starting from Ledro, it passes through villages, woods, and lush trails. Along the way, you can find viewpoints that offer spectacular views of Lake Garda and its crystal-clear waters.
