    Der Hochpustertaler Höhenweg scheint noch ein absoluter Geheimtipp zu sein. Die An- und Abreise ist ab Toblach mit dem Bus sehr einfach. Hütten haben wir etwa 3 Monate im Voraus gebucht und trotz Hauptsaison überall noch einen Platz bekommen. Landschaftlich ist die Tour sehr abwechslungsreich und die Wege sind alle gut begehbar, eine Spezielle Ausrüstung ist nicht notwendig. Die Etappen sind mit einer guten Grundkondition gut machbar, wir sind teilweise schon sehr früh auf den Hütten angekommen und hatten auch zwischendurch immer viel Zeit um einkehren zu gehen. An Einkehrmöglichkeiten mangelt es auf dem gesamten Weg nicht, so dass ein Mittagessen auch ohne Rucksackvesper gesichert ist. An Tag 1 haben wir uns dagegen entschieden zum Hotel Brückle ins Tal zu laufen uns haben stattdessen den Weg oben rum zum Berggasthof Plätzwiese genommen. Alternativ kann aber auch die Dürrensteinhütte angesteuert werden. Für alle die weniger Zeit haben, die Tour kann Beispielsweise auch bereits an der Talschlusshütte beendet werden (gute Busverbindung) oder wenn Tag 1 bereits zur Dürrensteinhütte geht, dann kann der Dürrenstein ohne Probleme ausgelassen werden (Achtung ihr verpasst einen wunderschönen Panoramablick). Insgesamt sind alle Hütten so gelegen, dass z.B. bei schlechtem Wetter ein Abstieg ins Tal und ein Abbruch der Tour recht einfach möglich wäre. Vielen Dank für die schönen Erinnerungen und Bilder die wir von dieser Tour mit nachhause nehmen durften!

    Eine geniale Tour, sehr sehr viele eindrucksvolle Fotomotive (Berge, Täler, ... ;-) und nur etwas "schwarz", d.h. die Schwierigkeit hält sich in Grenzen.

    Lohnenswerte Tour bei guter Sicht. Die Verhältnisse in der Scharte sind entscheidend. Bei Neuschnee sieht man die Fixseile und Tritte Nicht, auch im Sommer! Der Aufstieg über die Skipiste ist eine etwas schnellere Alternative. Das Panorama lohnt die Mühe .

    Wunderschöne, jedoch anspruchsvolle Tour, die nicht unterschätz werden sollte. Bei Abstieg über den Gletscher ist beim Übergang vom versicherten Steig in den Gletscher eine Schneebrücke eingebrochen. Aktuell kann man die Stelle nur passieren, wenn man sich abseilt ( ca 6-8 m)
