Fine Traverse For fans of easy pleasure climbing, the west ridge of the Guffert is a must, which together with the beautiful normal route makes for a really great experience.

The Guffert South Ridge, also called South Edge, is a well-secured alpine climbing route. Due to numerous ascents, some spots in the first rope lengths are polished smooth. A beautiful ascent to the very popular and often crowded Guffert.

Charming Duo The crossing of the striking ridge at Guffert offers, besides two beautiful highlights (west and main summit), impressive views into its steep south face (III-).

Classic climb with dream view The south ridge at Guffert is one of the classics in the Rofan. With its beautiful climbing meters, airy walking sections, and fantastic views, it is a varied route that you should have done.

Climbers who want to ascend this "Olympus" via the steep grey limestone slabs should be prepared for persistently difficult climbing with some flattening blocking moves. In the first seven, very homogeneous pitches, the route offers nice, grippy holes and ledges.

Many associate the name Karwendel with classic routes in brittle rock. But the "Concerto" is exactly the opposite: with very few exceptions, it runs over compact, partly water-eroded, rough rock and is well secured.
