From the Rofan mountain inn or the cable car mountain station, hike towards Dalfazer Alm.

At the paragliders' launch area and viewpoint, turn right following the signpost on the normal route to Rotspitze.

At the base of the south face, descend a few meters leaving the normal route to reach the south face. From here, follow the path further to then descend to the east face. A rope is installed here for support.

After the climbing route, we continued from Rotspitze to Hochiss and then returned via the normal route to the Rofan mountain inn.
